WhatsApp Business should be treated like any other platform in your marketing mix: with strategic care. Before you get started with WhatsApp Business consider how it will align and support the other channels in your marketing mix. Understand your objectives, the purpose and who will manage it internally.
Aligning the channel with your existing marketing mix will ensure a consistent customer experience and that whatever you do on WhatsApp Business will support your existing marketing.

Step 1 β Download and Verify
Download WhatsApp Business via Google Play and complete the verification steps. Note: Once youβve added your business name, it canβt be changed.
Hint: Itβs best to use a dedicated phone number for your business and not your personal phone number.
Step 2 β Set up your business page
- Click the menu button β’β’ at the top
- Click Settings
- Click Business Settings
- Click Profile
- Make your updates and click Save
Make it all about you. Use the pencil icon to edit your details.
