In today’s marketing moment, we’re talking our favourite apps!🤓
Apps (short for mobile applications), help keep life simple! From a technical perspective, apps perform actions much quicker than a mobile website, mainly because apps usually store their data locally on mobile devices, in contrast to websites that generally use web servers.
But enough tech talk, here’s some of our favs.
Darnelle – Headspace
Around 2 years ago, meditation and in particular the Headspace app, changed my life!
Meditation has been shown to help people stress less, focus more and even sleep better. So I said, sign me up! And with the help of Headspace, I now sleep better and am more mindful in every day life.
Headspace is truly meditation made simple.

Maz – Duolingo
As a budding linguist, I am loving Duolingo! I am trying to learn French, and with the help of Duolingo, I can do it for free!
Duolingo is an American platform that is a language-learning website and mobile app, and includes a digital language-proficiency assessment exam so you can track your progress.
At the moment I am on the free version, however they also offer a premium service for a fee.
Jess – Countdown apps
Countdown to dates you are looking forward to with Countdown apps. You can save as many key dates as you like, customise image and name the event.
These apps are great to keep track of your goals and remember special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries.
Lorna – MyFitnessPal
This free app is a useful tool to help you track everything from the food you’re eating and the nutritional facts, to the calories you’re burning and how close you are to reaching your goals.
I love the handy recipes as well to help with my meal plans.
